HITLER’S AIM
“FIRST SOCIALIST PEOPLE’S STATE” DR. LEY’S VIEW [U.PA.-By Electric Telegraph-Copyright] LONDON, 9th December. Hitler’s great aim is to make Germany "the first socialist people’s state,** declared the leader of the German labour front, Doctor Ley, speaking at Dresden, yesterday. He emphasised that the time would come when the effect of the shameful treaty of Westphalia of 1648 would be wiped out and a new Holy German Empire set up. The new order would be planned according to the principles of ability, race and discipline and would result in unprecedented prosperity.
