INTERCESSION
Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust and not be afraid; for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song. He also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. (Isaiah xii, 2-3).
Lord, hear our cry and let our prayer come unto Thee. Deliver our nation in its day of peril. Sustain our brethren in Britain in their constant danger. We thank Thee for their patience and courage and we beseech Thee help them still to endure the many things they are called upon to suffer. May the love of justice, truth and honour make their hearts strong, and may the fear and hatred of enslavement confirm their resolution, until it please Thee to crown their endurance with victory.
