REPRESENTATIVE CRICKET
WELLINGTON TEAM TO PLAY AUCKLAND [United Press Association] WELLINGTON, This Day. The sole selector, Mr J. R. Lamason, has chosen the following team to represent Wellington against Auckland in the representative cricket match at the Basin Reserve, Wellington, on 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th December:—M. P. Donnelly (Taranaki), W. E. Norris (Manawatu), T. Downes (Manawatu). T. L. Pritchard (Manawatu). P. D. Wilson, J. R. Lamason (captain), N. S. H. Burnette, D. S. Wilson, T. Russ, J. Rabone, H. W. Osborn, H. Lubransky (twelfth man). A number of prominent players were not available for. selection, as they were required for military duties.
