RED CROSS ACCEPTING MESSAGES Letters posted in New Zealand to addresses in the Channel Islands cannot be delivered because the group is occupied by the enemy. The Red Cross Society transmits messages between enemy territories but till recently the special Channel Islands Red Cross message scheme has been cancelled. Now. however, the New Zealand Red Cross Society, which has received many anxious inquiries concerning the welfare of people in the Channel Islands, has received cabled advice from the British Red Cross Society that the Channel Islands are included in the ordinary Red Cross message scheme.
