THE PRICE OF FRUIT
LESS FAVOURABLE TO GROWERS? An important meeting of fruitgrowers has been called for Thursday, 12th December, at 2 p.m., at Mapua. It is understood that the price offered for 1941 by the Minister is even less favourable to growers than the basis for the 1940 season. Fruitgrowers should make every effort to be present in order that they receive full details as the meeting will not be open to the Press. Attention is also drawn to the district meetings being held as advertised by the Stoke Association, Hills Union and Motueka District Exporters.
