TO ANESTIIETISE FOR DRILLING TEETH U§E IN SOVIET CLINICS [U.P.A.-By Electric I'elegraph-Copyrlght | (Received 101 h December, 12.30 p.m.) MOSCOW, 9th December. Soviet dental clinics are using a solution of table salt to anesthetise for drilling teeth. The sponsor, Dr Levin, of Odessa, says that the solution is rubbed in the cavities and dries up the fluids which are conductors of pain to the nerves. The method is claimed to be 95 per cent, successful.”
