LOSS OF A NETHERLANDS SUBMARINE
[British Official Wirelessj (Received 10th December, 10.40 a.m.) RUGBY, 9th December. The London headquarters of the Royal Netherlands Navy have announced the loss of a Netherlands submarine in war operations. Every endeavour has been made to inform the next-of-kin of the crew through the agency of the International Red Cross and it is assumed that these messages have now reached their destination in Holland.
