SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
COMPLETION OF MATCHES Conditions for the Nelson City Cricket Association's matches again looked hopeless on Saturday morning but a gradual cleatance in the weather allowed the games to proceed. In the senior grade matches commenced six weeks ago, but twice blocked by rain, were continued. All games resulted in fiist innings points. Waimea, chasing Wakatu’s 224, ran to 310. At the College Athletic ran up the season's highest score, and on the main wicket at the Park the unprecedented run of small scoring continued Old Boys’ 103 being the only 3 figure score on this wicket for at least 6 successive innings.
