SILVER QUEX WINS PARK HANDICAP SELWYN TAKES SPRINT WHANGAREI, 7th December. There was a large attendance for the second day of the Whangarei Racing Club's meeting, held in glorious weather. The totalisator handled £17,871, against £20,299 last year, the total for the meeting being £32,824, compared with £36,396 10s last year, a decrease of £3572 10s.
