THEFT OF £BOO ALLEGED
WOMAN CLERK REMANDED TUnitcd Press Association] AUCKLAND. 6th December. Phyllis Olive Barnett, aged 31, clerk, was charged in the Magistrate’s Court that on 6th December. 1939. she stole £BOO belonging to Mary Cochran Baird j and others. The police obtained a remand till 12th December. Bail was allowed in accused’s own surety of £4OO and two others of £2OO each.
