CHARGE OF THEFT FROM CANTEEN FUND
[United Press Association] DUNEDIN, 6th December. A charge of stealing £44 10s from the canteen fund of the Internal Marketing Division was preferred against Martin Chamberlain Harvey, assistant in the canteen at the Taieri air force station, in the Magistrate’s Court, Dunedin, to-day. Accused pleaded not guilty, and after hearing the case for the prosecution the magistrate, Mr Bundle, committed him to the Supreme Court for trial.
