WORST NOT OVER
NAZI AIR ATTACKS ON BRITAIN j FULL FURY IN SPRING LORD BEAVERBROOK’S OPINION [U.P.A.-By Electric Telegraph-Copyright] j Received 7th Dec.. 2.10 p.m. LONDON, 6th December. Lord Beaverbrook, Minister of Air Production, in a speech said: “No doubt the air battle will resume in its full fury in the spring. It is preposterous to think that the worst is over. The Germans are certain to attack us most violently from the air after the winter with all the forces it is possible to muster. The greatest number of planes produceable in Britain will be rolled out from the factories between now and March. The public at present is lulled into a sense of security but I am convinced that a formidable attack is coming.”
