ENGLISH FACTORY MANNED BY REFUGEES
DIAMONDS TO BE CUT IN LONDON [British Official Wireless] RUGBY, sth December. The Belgian Premier, M. Pierlot, attended the opening of the first English factory manned entirely by refugees. It is a diamond-cutting and finishing and polishing concern and is the first ever to be have been started in London. The factory employs nearly 150 skilled workers from Belgium and Holland. Its output of diamonds will represent at least £35,000 weekly.
