ENGLISH FACTORY MANNED BY REFUGEES

DIAMONDS TO BE CUT IN LONDON [British Official Wireless] RUGBY, sth December. The Belgian Premier, M. Pierlot, attended the opening of the first English factory manned entirely by refugees. It is a diamond-cutting and finishing and polishing concern and is the first ever to be have been started in London. The factory employs nearly 150 skilled workers from Belgium and Holland.
