MAYOR Or MOTUEKA DEAD The Mayor of Motueka. Mr I?. J. L. York, collapsed and died on the Motueka Showground this afternoon just prior to the official opening of the Show. Mr York has been under medical treatment for several months. That is the opinion of British frontline correspondents on the Albanian battlefront. A general Greey advance on the whole front is reported, although restricted in the north, also in the Pindus regions because of the mountainous country. Snow and fog are assisting the Italians’ retreat in the north sector. The Free French Agency’s Istanbul correspondent says that a total of over 6000 Italian troops entered Yugoslavia from Albania and were interned at 18 camps.
