PROGRESS OF OIL BORES
[United Press Association] GISBORNE, This Day. The New Zealand Petroleum Company Limited reports that the Morere well is at present at a depth of 5450 feet in hard shale and sandy shale. The Midhurst well has been advanced to 4530 feet in hard, sandy shale.
