BAZAAR FOR PATRIOTIC FUNDS BY WOMEN’S NATIONAL RESERVE i Another big effort in the form* of a monster bazaar was held by the Women’s National Reserve in the Oddfe 1 lows’ Hall in the afternoon and evening and being well patronised by the public resulted in further increasing the local Patriotic Fund effort. Much preliminary work had been done by tlie members of the Reserve, and when the bazaar opened the stalls were well laden with goods collected throughout the district Games and competitions were held during the afternoon and evening, and besides helping greatly in the local patriotic effort, the public were treated to a very enjoyable time. The result of the day was another fine contribution to the war effort.
