THE RUSSIAN FLEET
GROWING STRENGTH CLAIMED LONDON, 2nd December. Details of the growing strength of the Russian fleet have been given in a broadcast from Moscow by i Russian admiral. He said that during the second fiveyear plan the Soviet Union had built the mightiest submarine fleet in the world. . Now. during the third five-year plan a large navy had been created. M. Stalin himself • vcJed some time every day to directing the building of the fleet.
