HOLIDAY WORK ON FARMS
230 BOYS FROM NELSON COLLEGE During the Christmas 230 Nelson College boys will be working on farms. The Principal, Mr H. V. Searle, reported to that effect at the monthly meeting of Nelson College Council of Governors lest evening. “Most of the boys are already arranged for,” said the Principal, “but there are still a few who have registered with the local Placement Officer as being available if required.” He added that during last week a party of boys from the College had assisted the Nelson Patriotic Committee in the peapicking work at the patriotic farm at Hope.
