MR WEBB’S SPEECH
FARMERS’ UNION RESOLUTION [United Press Association] DANNEVIRKE, This Day. The Southern Hawkes Bay Provincial Executive of the Farmers’ Union relative to the report of the speech of the Hon. P. Webb (which he has since declared was a jumbled version), passed the following resolution: “That this meeting take strong exception to the reported statements of the Hon. P. Webb, as it considered they ar e disruptive and not in the interests of national unity, and that the Dominion Executive be asked to take the matter up.
