TRAINING PLANE CRASHES
PILOT’S ARM BROKEN [United Press Association) DUNEDIN, 14th June. A training plane from the R.N.Z.A.F. station at North Taieri crashed at Pukerangi about 13 miles from Middlemarch this morning. The pilot received a broken arm and head injuries and was removed to the Middlemarch Hospital where it was reported that his condition was satisfactory and his injuries not serious.
The plane was brought back to Taieri aerodrome by a tender which left on receipt of news of the crash.
