TAKE HEART
fTo The Editor] Sir, —Is it not a great sign that Germany is at its last gasp now they have called Italy in to assist them in their brutal endeavours to annihilate all that. Christians and all true humanitarians hold dear in the world? Would not the Hitler gangsters with all their brutal pomp and vanity rather have achieved a victory on their own initiative, and so be able to boast “We did it alone.” They must be in a very bad way to have had to call in their catspaw, Italy, for the above reasons. Let us all cheer up and take heart at these obvious signs.—l am, etc., A.L. Nelson, 13th June.
