MORE HOPEFUL ATMOSPHERE LONDON, 27th August. Sir Nevile Henderson was present at a Cabinet meeting. It is understood that Parliament is unlikely to reassemble before 30th August. A more hopeful atmosphere seems to prevail at the Foreign Office. A summary of Herr Hitler’s communication and the British reply may be published on the 28th August.
