Ingram, I and F - J- Phipps, with power to add. j The secretary was instructed to in- | terview the Commissioner of Crown Lands to endeavour to obtain control of the three reserves as a Domain Board( and also to investigate the possibility of obtaining Government assistance towards the development of a playground. Messrs Murray and Kemp were appointed canvassers and it was decided that the raising of £IOO locally be aimed at. It was decided that, if n favourable indication as to vesting the reserves under the control of a local Domain Board be received, a “Working bee” be held on Saturday, 9th September. The next committee meeting was fixed for Thursday, 7th September, at the secretary’s residence. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to Mr and Mrs Murray for making their residence available for the occasion.
