| MEETING OF SUB-UNION SATURDAY’S MATCH WITH MURCHISON At a meeting of the Golden Bay Rugby Sub-Union held in Takaka there were present. Messrs Emms (secretary), Roach (treasurer), Solly, Mason. Davies, Woolf, Reilly. Mr Mason, as vice-presi-dent, took the chair. It was decided to instruct the secretary to draw up rules for the SubUnion. It was resolved that Mr Fulton and Mr W. Delany be written to in appreciation of their services. It was reported that rule books had arrived and were being distributed. A classification committee of three (Messrs Reilly, Solly and Stanton) was set up to deal with all reclassifications and transfers. Mr Solly’s offer of free services for the Murchison trip this week-end waft accepted. Messrs Newman Bros.’ tender was accepted. A motion of thanks was passed to Mr Rees for his offer to billet Collingwood members on Friday night. Mr A. O. E ims was appointed manager of the team. It was resolved that 10 jerseys (red and black) be purchased, as (lie Murchison colours are the same as the locai Sub-Union. It was decided to advertise for lost trophies. The secretary is to write to Motueka asking for the revival of the Manoy Cup. The following fi. - res were read : I 22nd July: Golden Bay v. Motueka. at j Takaka. Curtain-raiser, Collingwood v.
