CUSICK DEFEATS KELLY BELFAST. 29th June Johnny Cusick, of Manchester, won the British and Empire featherweight boxing championships beating the holder. "Spider” Kelly, of Londonderry. The referee stopped the bout in the twelfth round LIGHTWEIGHT BOUT IN LONDON LONDON. 29th June. ! Eric Boon. British lightweight champion. knocked out Johnny McGrory. of Glasgow, in the ninth of a twelveroun bout. Boon won every round. Ten thousand spectators witnessed the bout.
