NEW SLOOP LAUNCHED lU P A -By Electric Telegraph r.,p* . mnt SYDNEY, 11th June. A new sloop of 1400 tons was launched from Cockatoo Island dockyard to-day. It was christened Parramatta by the wife of the Minister of Defence, Mr G. A. street. The Parramatta is a sister ship of t’- : Yarra and Swan and is designed for trade defences.
