SOVIET ‘ AIR INFANTRY”
EXPERIMENTAL MASS JUMPS (Received 12th June, 9.50 a.m.) MOSCOW, 11th June. A series of xperimental mass parachute jumps were carried out in the North Caucasus from great heights. Seven men jumped from 26,902 feet. It is claimed that the Soviet possesses 60,000 “air infantry.”
