.MAXAWATI.i BRANCH MEETING ■J i'e annual dinner and meeting of the Munawalu branch of the Association was held m i’aimerston North last week when there was a. large attendance including 4 officers of the’ Wanganui branch, while several members travelled from Marton, EahlatUa and bedding to be present. The branch president (Mr W. S. bell) occupied | the chair and the president of the head body (Mr E. H. Neale, of Nelson), made a special trip Iroin Nelson to attend the meeting. The Wanganui and Maimwatu branches will combine in conducting this conference and requested the parent association to prepare the agenda and invite remits from all branches. It is intended that the conference shall take place o-j Saturday, 19tli August, in the evening, and a combined ball is to be held at Wanganui College on the Monday evening after the tournament. The election of officers for the Alanawalu branch resulted in the re-election of Mr W. S. Fell (1901-02) as president
