INTERNATIONAL SITUATION (U P A —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 11th May, 12 15 p.m > ROME. 10th May, Admiral Cavagnari. Naval Undersecretary, in a statement to the Chamber of Fascists, said Italy would soon possess four thirty-five thousand and four twenty-six thousand ton battleships nineteen heavy and twelve fast cruisers, sixty large destroyers, seventy torpedo boats, and over hundred submarines. He added that he spoke of the vessels in accordance with Signor Mussolini s order that there was every probability that the international situation might oblige Italy immediately or in the near future to count on the navy.
