Plans are announced for building a twin-engined pursuit plane capable of a speed of 400 miles an hour and carrying a 37-millimetre gun firing a hundred I.llb explosive shells a minute, capable of destroying with a single shot the largest bombers.
It is believed that it will be one of the most effective aerial combat planes yet devised.
