AUSTRALIAN TRADESMEN
ENGAGED FOR NEW ZEALAND fD.P.A.—By Electric Telegraph-Copvrichti (Received 15th April, 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Mr Hodgens, who was a passenger by the Awatea, said he had engaged 453 tradesmen in Australia, most of whom are now in New Zealand. He said he had received every possible courtesy from Government departments, union officials and others, and a difficult task was made easy for him.
