GERMAN ALLEGATIONS
ALLEGED BRITISH BRUTALITY WITHOUT FOUNDATION I British Official Wirelcssl • Received 15th April. 12.20 p.m.) RUGBY. 14th April. Allegations have appeared in the German press that an Arab boy was abducted and murdered in Lydda Bay by British soldiers. Inquiries show that the only incident in which an Arab boy has been concerned took place on 12th March during a military search when an Arab boy drew a pistol and tried to fire at troops. The pistol misfired and the boy ran away, but was wounded and captured.
Subsequently he told soldiers who caught him that he fired on instructions of a certain Fakhri Maraka, a notorious terrorist, who had accordingly been arrested.
