ARMS FROM UNITED STATES
BRITAIN AND FRANCE TO SPEND 25,000.000 DOLLARS (Received 14th April. 9.15 a.m.) WASHINGTON, 13th April.
Britain and France have so far this year obtained export licenses in connection with their rearmament programmes totalling nearly 25,000,000 dollars, of which nearly 23,000,000 dollars is for military planes, motors and accessories.
Britain’s share is more than 13,000.000 dollars, of which 12,000.000 dollars is for planes. In the same period export licenses to Italy and Germany totalled only 15,000 dollars.
