NUMEROUS SATURDAY FIXTURES ADAMS SHIELD MATCH The City greens will be taxed to capacity next Saturday. Advice has been received that the Marlborough Centre desire to play twelve rinks for the Adams Shield (the maximum number is fixed for eight in the original conditions). Six rinks will be played on the Nelson green and six on the Maitai. In addition there will be a further rink from Picton to play in a friendly game. There will also be three rinks from Wellington, and these will play a friendly game against three Nelson rinks.
