Restrictions of Imports means eventually scarcity of stocks. There will probably be lots of some kinds of goods a shortage of others. We are glad that we have so much good drapery in stock now and have made, fortunately, arrangements for next season's supplies. But, in a few months time we, like others, will be short of certain stocks. So why have a Sale? To be frank we could do without one. We have no fashion goods to clear—no cheap or doubtful job lines. We have, however, o shop full of good honest drapery. But we must look at this problem through our customers' eyes. They expect us to hold our Sale as usual. They wait for it. It would be a disappointment to so many of our supporters if we departed from custom. SO HURST'S SALE AS USUAL! And as usual everything in the store will carry a Sale Reduction, the only exception being proprietary fixed price items. Broken assortments and short quantities will be cleared at bargain prices. There will be special offerings in all departments and worthwhile savings on even the plainest and most useful standard drapery. So we advise you to buy while the "Going is Good."
