At the wool sales 8745 bales were offered, including 1686 New Zealand and 7441 were sold. There was a good selection, chiefly Australian merinos, offered. New Zealand greasy crossbred, “Motuttaraia,” 9Jd to IOJd. Slip, halfbred lambs, “CMC Eclipse,” 12$d to 12}d.
