CRICKET COMPETITION CONTINUED

MURCHISON DEFEAT GRIPPS After a break of about two months owing to unfavourable weather, and the playing of representative matches, the cricket competition was continued at the week-end, Murchison playing Gripps on the Murchison ground. Murchison secured a 5 point win, Gripps still having four wickets to fall in the second innings on the call of time. Individual scoring was low, but some good averages were secured in the bowling, W.
