REPORT TO U.S. AUTHORITIES 1 U P A —Hv Electric Telegraph-Oniu nirhr > WASHINGTON, 22nd January Imperial Airways’ failure to equip the Cavalier with the standard American equipment for heating the carburettors to prevent icing-up has been reported to the Civil Aeronautics Authority. The report will be investigated when Imperial Airways’ application for a certificate enabling them to continue using an American airport for the service to Bermuda is considered.
