Nixon are Dunedin visitors to Nelson. They are staying at : the Masonic Hotel. ** * * Misses G. O’Brien and K. O'Donnell j (Hawera) are spending several days in Nelson during a South Island tour. They are staying at the Masonic Hotel. | ** * * Mr and Mrs Gunn (Dunedin) are visiting Nelson and are staying at the J Masonic Hotel. ** * * Mrs L. Jolly and Mrs Greenfields j (Stratford), who are on a motoring tour J of the South Island, arrived in Nelson on Saturday, and yesterday proceeded on to the West Coast. They were guests at the Hotel Nelson. * * * The many friends of Miss Peggy Bensemann, who is training at the Christchurch Public Hospital, will be pleased to hear that she has been successful in passing the junior State nursing examination with honours. ** * * Mr and Mrs E. Burnell, of Melbourne, are visiting Nelson and are staying at the Royal Hotel. 4* # Miss B. Attwood is a visitor to Nelson from Dunedin staying at the Masonic Hotel. #* * * The Rev. J. H. Starnes, minister of the Knox Presbyterian Church, Dannevirke. Mrs Starnes and their little daughter, are visiting the Motueka district, and are the guests of Messrs M.! and C. Cresswell, Lower Moutere. ** * * Included among the guests at the Royal Hotel this week are Miss Edwards. Wellington, Mr and Mrs C. G. Fantham, Christchurch, and Miss Grey, Christchurch. ¥ 4* 4* Overseas visitors to Nelson at the present time include Mr and Miss Crowther (Natal. South Africa). They are staying at the Masonic Hotel. #& * # Miss J Hargreaves, of High street, Motueka. is on a tour of the North Island. ** * * Mr and Mrs Alan Chapman, who reside in Hokitika, have arrived in Nelson with their two children, and are staying at the Royal Hotel.
