WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
NGATIMOTI BRANCH The members of the Ngatimoti Women’s Institute held their annual dance in the Ngatimoti Hall recently and it proved a great success both socially and financially. Visitors were present from all the surrounding districts. Miss Llewellin and partner won the Monte Carlo waltz. The campers’ lucky spot waltz was won by Miss Douglas and Mr Frank Burrell. The duties of M.C. were in the capable hands of Mr V. Davey while Mr Allred supplied the music. Miss Peggy Win drew the lucky number fo rthe Christmas cake and Mr Dan Tomlinson for the cigarettes. Institute members were' responsible for the excellent supper' which was done full justice to.
