BRITISH NOTE TO JAPAN
UNITED STATES AND FRANCE INFORMED OF TERMS fßritish Official WirHaast (Received 17th January, 12.32 p.m.» RUGEY, 10th January. It was stated in London to-day that the United States Government was informed as an act of courtesy of the terms of the British Note to Japan disclaiming the Japanese right to establish an economic bloc in China to the detriment of the trading interests of the parties to the Nine-Power Pact. The French Government was also acquainted with the terms of the Note and expressed its approval.
