THE WEATHER

CHANGEABLE AND SHOWERY The weather is forecast to be squally and rather changeable with occasional showers and possibly some hail; temperatures cool. A further ten points of rain fell yesterday, and conditions remained cold, the temperature not rising above 62.8 degrees. The periods of sunshine amounted to 7 hours. The night was almost wintry, the temperature falling to 36.6 degrees.
