ADVERSE TRADE BALANCE LONDON, 15th January.

Owing to a reduction in imports, Britain’s adverse trade balance in 1938 was £387.946,000, or £43,353,000 lower than in 1937. Imports decreased £107.386 842 to £920,437,856. Exports totalled £470,883,489.
