OBITUARY
MRS A. E. E. ROBINSON The late Mrs Beatrice E. Robinson, whose death occurred at Parkvale, Carterton, ws the daughter of the late Mr Charles Parker of England and Clara E. Parker, of Parkvale, Carterton, and granddaughter of the late John Perry Robinson for sometime superintendent of the Province of Nelson. Her early life was spent at Parkvale. For a period of years she resided at Nelson, returning to Carterton on her marriage, where she lived until the time of her death. She taught in the Parkvale Sunday School for many years and was a member of St. Mark’s Ladies’ Guild at Carterton and a member of the Women’s Institute. The interment took place at Stoke on 29th December from the residence of
1 Mrs J. P. Robinson. The service at the house and at the graveside was conducted by the Bishop of Nelson assisted by the Rev. Mr Saunders, Vicar of Stoke The pall bearers were Messrs S. Gilbert. C.P. and K. Strachan, Vercoe. G. Lewis and H. Chisnall. The profusion wreaths was a great tribute to the memory of the late Mrs Robinson. She is survived by her husband, A. E. E. Robinson and her sister. Miss M. G. Parker, of Carterton.
