Bradman is reported to be considering an invitation to take the secretaryship of the Melbourne Cricket Club at a salary of £IOOO a year, now vacant owing to the death of Mr Hugh Trumble. Bradman, who is with a firm of sharebrokers in Adelaide, refuses to comment upon the offer.
