FAIR TO FINE AND COOL Some isolated local showers or thundei are possible but the weather is ! predicted to be mainly fair to fine. There was a noticeable drop in the 1 temperature last night after a warm sunny day. during which the sun shone for 10 hours 40 minutes. In Nelson the minimum temperature was 34.9 degrees. It was higher at Redwood’s Valley, being 40.4 degrees. This morning was brilliantly fine at first but later became cloudy and fresh. A cold *hower fell just before noon.
