WOMEN’S INSTITUTE CHILDREN’S PARTY [From Our Own Correspondent! The Lower Moutere Women’s Institute held a children’s party at the home of Mrs weather the kiddies had an enjoyable afternoon. A Christmas tree was the main attraction and each child received a toy and a paper hat. The adults then adjourned to the house for afternoon tea and the children were given soft drinks, cakes, etc. on the verandah. To complete their enjoyment bags of sweets were handed round.
