ELEVEN DEAD
JUNKERS PLANE CRASHES WHILE MAKING TRIAL FLIGHT fU.P AHv Electric Telegraph Oopyrigbt' BATHURST (West Africa), 26th November. A Lufthansa 40-seater Junker passenger plane with 15 people aboard, while making a trial flight from Germany to Dakar, collided with a palm tree after taking off and crashed. Eleven of the occupants were burnt to death. Three others were seriously injured. The crew numbered five. The passengers were engineers from the Junker works and members of the Air Ministry.
