CHINESE WOMEN AND CHILDREN PARTY ARRIVES BY NIAGARA I United Pr«M AimeliMnb' AUCKLAND, This Day. A blaze of colour from picturesque I costumes lent a touch of the Orient to the Niagara, by which 21 Chinese women and children are travelling from ( Hong Kong to join their husbands and fathers at Suva. The party is accompanied by Mr Yee Hiy Shang, a prominent storekeeper of Suva, his wife and two children. The party from China represents the wives and children of Shang’s employees in Suva. “Business is good at Hong Kong,” 6a id Mr Shang. “The place is. of course, crowded with people from the mainland My people are confident that they will win the war, but we have no more news about what is happening than you get in the cables.”
