ANOTHER RECORD ATTEMPT.—Mr. C. W. A. Scott (on platform) supervising the installation of new engines in the de Havilland Comet monoplane in which he and the late T. Campbell Black won the Melbourne Centenary Air Race and in which Flying Officer Clouston and Mr. Ricketts flew from England to New Zealand. Mr. Scott, with Mrs. Kirby Green as co-pilot, will attempt the England-Capetown record.
